William Gleason Shihan, studied Aikido under Yamaguchi Seigo Sensei, and many of the gifted early shihan at Home dojo.
Gleason Sensei returned from Japan in 1980 and opened his first dojo, Shobu Aikido of Boston. He has published two popular Aikido books Aikido and Words of Power: The Sacred Sounds of the Kototama and The Spiritual Foundations of Aikido. He also has DVD on Aikido and Sword. He is a frequent guest teacher at our dojo and he also teaches world wide. “There is no one I know who puts more effort in communicating his understanding of Aikido and its principles at a seminar”
